Google in 2009 has reduced the revenue of Adsense Publishers

E 'the hot topic of today. Google appears to have reduced in 2009 the revenue of Adsense publishers.

Adsense is interesting but also strange. The publishers never know exactly what percentage of revenues that Google gives them for advertising within their websites. One possible explanation is that when Google officially reveal what percentage that is charged to the publishers, the competitors can beat this figure, ripping a result of Google the most important publishers. However, there are indirect methods to understand the percentage that Google provides publishers, because it is a public company, listed on the stock exchange. The 'Google Network Revenues' is the total amount of money you receive through Google Adsense, the' Traffic Acquisition Costs' (TAC) only represent the percentage (not exactly) d iricavi that Google provides its publishers. Well, Amit Agarwal has used these numbers to understand the performance of the revenue of Adsense publishers in 2008.

Q1 2008 Q2 2008 Q3 2008
1. Total Revenue earned by Google from AdSense $ 1.69 billion $ 1.66 billion $ 1.68 billion
2. Google AdSense Revenue That shared with publishers $ 1.49 billion $ 1.47 billion $ 1.50 billion
3. Percentage of revenue share 88.16% 88.55% 89.29%
4. Paid Clicks n * n * 1.04% 1.03% 1.07% n *

As you can see in the chart, Google Adsense has provided to the publishers (2008) 88% of the revenue generated by their websites. Labnol has updated the figures include those of 2009 and we see some anomalies. Many people complained about the drop in revenue in 2009 and in fact we can say that he was right, the trend is downward.

Q1 ‘09 Q2 ‘09 Q3 ‘09 Q4 ‘09
What Google earned from AdSense (in billion) $1.64 $1.68 $1.80 $2.04
What Google paid to AdSense publishers (in billion) $1.23 $1.24 $1.33 $1.47
Percentage share of AdSense Publishers 75.0% 73.8% 73.9% 72.1%

AdSense was launched in 2003 and the publishers still have no knowledge of the percentage of revenue they are entitled. Think of it that Google is a company that has managed for years to "keep afloat" this agreement with the publishers. But the data are clear, the publishers have had a decline in revenues in 2009 decreased as the percentage of revenue they deserve ..
