Even the title should now recognize the strategic importance of this business trip, but very funny, in that Varese, where he played this year, the Cycling World Championship! lot of people certainly to the race, but many volunteers to assist the people. Each task in its various working teams, managed to perfection by the organization. Team spirit is perhaps the ingredient that has been heard for more, followed by the enthusiasm and desire to assist citizens, and in the meantime enjoy a sports event that happens a few times before his eyes.

Wednesday, October 15, 2008, in the evening, the Civil Protection of Merone, has responded to the proposal of invitation issued by the Province of Como, participating meeting with Dr. Stephen Maullu, neo Councillor for Civil Protection of Regione Lombardia.

the weekend of 4-5 and 11 and October 12, Protection Civil Merone attended a service at the Feast of St. Francis 2008, organized by the group Sanfrancesco from Parish SS. James and Philip Moiana. through the backyards of Moiana, through the many attractions manifetazioni, dramatic and figurative, and through numerous occasions of religious meeting, people learned about Brianza, in its most ancient traditions peasant culture, reliving the magic for a few days of yore, and, for younger people, discovering a human dimension, recreation and work, now almost disappeared.

Our group of Civil Protection has contributed to the success of this undertaking, which has now been active for several years, ensuring public order and safety.

We also thank for their collaboration: Pro Loco Merone, Biblioteca Comunale di Merone, Merone Theatre Company's "The Bridge."

The Feast of St. Francis was held under the patronage of the City of Merone and the Province of Como.
